Love, relationship, intimacy and sex are the experiences that we will have throughout most of our lives. They give us joy yet anger; they bring us smiles yet tears; they make us feel the fulfilment of our lives, yet they may make us lose the sense of self. When we are in emotional difficulties, we can self-help, but sometimes, we need help from others, friends, family or therapists. About me and my practice
Hello, my name is Lina and I am an psychotherapist and couple counsellor specialising in psychosexual and relationship therapy. Im qualified to Diploma level in Relationship and Psychosexual Therapy and a registered member of COSRT (College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists), along with the NCPS (National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society).
Through having a Chinese heritage, I appreciate and understand how cultural differences can have an impact on relationships. Factors such a different family backgrounds, communities, different values, belief systems and life experiences, can influence couples who would like harmony in their relationship, and might feel they have a bridge to cross. However, through having relationship therapy and they reach the other side, they may see things differently.
We all the need and desire to feel listened to, heard and supported and would like the space to express our true feelings. Therefore, I provide a warm, safe, non-judgmental space for my clients to be able to do just that. My motto is To feel and to express to be aware and look for solutions. Hence, I will guide the couples to really listen to each others perspective so they are able to identify the factors that might be negatively impacting their relationship, sex life and life in general.
I believe every one of us has a special internal power, which helps us retain our sense of self to heal and grow. If you temporarily lose this power, I will help you to regain it.
My therapy sessions are tailored for each couples or individuals needs. For example, I may draw upon CBT therapy, attachment theory, psychodynamic therapy, imago therapy, existential therapy, etc.

Initial Consultation
The initial consultation is a free 20-minute informal and confidential session.
Our formal sessions are open-ended, which means you let me know when you feel better and want to stop the therapy. However, I dont suggest a sudden termination. Instead, it would be good if we could have an ending session so we have a chance to review our previous sessions. Our sessions are online via Zoom.
Each formal session lasts up to 50 minutes; Please arrive on time, or you will lose the minutes you are late for.
Fees
Fees for private individual therapy is £80 per session;
Fees for private couple therapy is £90 per session;
I also provide a discounted fee, £50 per session, for students and people on benefit.
When I Work
Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm;
Occationally Saturday and Sunday morning;
All appointments run on "first come, first served" basis.
